The new Climber tab has a bug
AnsweredHi guys love the new Climb tab but it does have huge bug.
Was on a hill climb that had to much tourist traffic so made a detour, not usually a problem map normally updates instantly to new route.
What happens now is the Climber tab just stays on and reroute just keeps trying to navigate you back to hill. Both myself and wife have Karroo 2 so to get back on route cancelled route on mine then restarted route and it navigated us to nearest point of route left wife on and it did clear hill climb and rerouted once we were back on course but that was 6 miles later!
If you detour of route surely climber tab should end just like a Strava segment, this needs fixing as it make a mockery out of the brilliant reroute feature.

Sorry for the experience you had with the new CLIMBER feature. I have created a support ticket for your issue - you should have received an email notification to let you know that ticket has been opened. One of our Customer Experience team members will be reaching out to you for more information - we will need to get your GPX route file, FIT file from the activity, and the location of the hill where you experienced it. That way, we can investigate further.
Vincent and Aline, it appears you both had some issues as well. We can also take a look at yours - please submit a ticket and include details about what you experienced - please include the same information I requested from Nigel - the GPX route file, the FIT file from the activity, and the location of the hill where you experienced this.
Thanks all!

Thanks, Nigel!
We can use your report and files to verify an issue so that we can create a trouble ticket if there is a bug. If it is a bug, we will be able to mock your ride and location to reproduce that and determine the factors that are at play and causing that behavior. Our testing groups have been using CLIMBER for 1-2 weeks and I am not aware of any widespread issues of this nature - this will help us narrow down the problem so that it can be addressed. Thanks for your help in running that down!
