Handlebar suppor broken
AnsweredHi there!
I proudly use KAROO2 in the gravel bike. Today after my ride i dismounted it as usual.
It has been badly broken as per picure attached.
I have read some other posts with same problem. I wonder if the H quality department can run more torque test and surface analysis of the coupled parts in order to tune the process and avoid the problem even if limited.
Somebody can tell me if I can get it replaced ? I'd like ask, because such failure is kind happen as fatigue failure.
Thanks!

I had an even worse problem.
Today, while riding my racing bike down a hill, I hit a small pothole near a manhole. The impact, although mild (it did not cause any issues with my bike or make me lose control), caused the handlebar mount of my Hammerhead Karoo2 to break. The device fell to the ground and shattered, almost hitting a cyclist who was a few meters behind me.
What happened, in addition to being potentially very dangerous, caused the cycle computer to break, rendering it unusable. It is unacceptable to pay so much money for a product that offers outstanding performance, but has such poor supporting components that compromise its functionality and put the rider at risk.
I will now contact the support service hoping that what happened would be treated with seriousness and professionalism as well. -
Paolo, I see one of our team member has shipped a replacement mount to your address on Sunday. From the tracking, it should be delivered to your address today.
Simone, In your case too, I see another team member has accepted for a warranty replacement for your Karoo 2 already. Please follow up over the ticket for us to proceed with the return label for the damaged unit.
