[solved] Can't switch my Karoo (1) on anymore. Reach bootloader, but no further. Any hints?
AnsweredUntil recently, my Karoo (1) worked normal and fine, but as I wanted to switch it on now, the screen stayed black. (No matter whether A is pressed long or short.)
It was connected to the charger before and the charger is working (checked with another device.)
According to https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/360003079393-How-to-Factory-Reset-Karoo , I reach the bootloader by holding B and then A.
When the bootloader has loaded, I can switch with B between the three modes. (Arrow on right side moves.) But as soon as I want to start any of these three modes by pressing C, the screen gets black/off again. :-(
Any ideas?
Edit: Solved. Will describe in first comment for better visual representation of the solution.

Ah, solved! :-D
I connected it to the charger again, and looking at the Karoo again, it greeted me with the "battery charging" (25%) Symbol.
Switching on worked as normal by long pressing A. So I suppose, the connection to the charger didn't work (why ever...) and the Karoo refused to do anything except for the bootloader-menu with such an empty battery. What about a charging-LED for the Karoo 3? ;-)

Hi Tobias, I am happy to hear the Karoo powered on as expected. I understand that charging-LED will be an important feature. But, there is a battery indicator that shows the level of the battery when the Karoo is charging.

Thanks Ashish, I know. I know this kind of indicator, bit it only shows up if it's in the "off" state. In the "on" state, charging is only visible by a subtle change of the battery-icon. And in the state I found my Karoo yesterday, it wasn't shown, too. So in _that_ state, there was really _no_ indication whether it was charging / the connection to the charger works or not.
After all, I never before had connectivity issues with the charger (using it exactly a year now), so I just did not care to take a closer look. (By pressing the A-button....) For that (plus that described nearly totally empty-state), a charging LED would gibe a good and easy visual feedback. :-)
But yes, in the future i _will_ check if it really _is_ charging.
