Karoo 2 Cellular Set Up

I’m looking for a write up on how to set up cellular after inserting the SIM card to the device. Does anyone have this information?

  I don’t remember there being anything special to do, in this day and age cellular devices usually download the settings from the operator automatically.

  After installing the SIM card, I'm able to turn cellular on in the menu settings. But I have no idea how to test if its actually connected? There is an outline of a triangle at the top to the left of my Wifi connection.

  Turn wifi off, create a route on the dashboard and see if it pops up on the Karoo?

  I think the outline means there’s no connection though, the triangle should be completely or partially filled to indicate signal strength. Maybe test the SIM with an old (or new) phone first to see that there isn’t anything like an activation you need to do before using it?
