Ascent recording and gradient readout are very inaccurate. Following my first ride the elevation total was 300m out (recorded 2060m when it was actually 1750). Also the gradient readout kept jumping from one extreme to another.

  Thank you I’ll try that. Is there a reason why the gradient keeps jumping around even when riding on the flat. At one point it read 68%!

  My grade is also extremely bouncy. Just hitting a pothole affects it. It’s only accurate with a gradual consistent slope.

  Thank you for your help. As it’s a brand new unit I think I’ll send it back and get a replacement.
