Altimeter fails and shows flat line

On my new Karoo 2, the altimeter fails regularly. At the beginning of a ride, everything is fine and the values are also consistent. But somewhere between KM 15 and 40 the altitude meters remain the same and it begins a flatline in the altitude profile. To me, it certainly looks like a hardware problem. Does anyone else have this problem?

  I have the same problem. What did you do to solve it?

  Opened a ticket and sent in the FIT Files from rides where the altimeter failed. Support saw that karoo tries to recalibrate the altimeter during the ride and failed several times. Obviously it was a hardware problem and the device got replaced within the guaranty. The new device seems to be fine now.
