I must be the only one with sensor disconnects.

I would just do a reset. Takes 5min and most settings are dinked to your cloud based profile anyways.

You're not the only one, Dennis. I just got my Karoo 2 less than 2 weeks ago and the speed sensor keeps dropping out and turning the unit to auto-pause while the other sensors (including cadence coming from the same sensor) and the GPS are working fine. I've run my old Garmin at the same time and the speed reading is constant as always, so I know the problem is the Karoo and not my speed/cadence sensor. Just submitted a support ticket.

If I disable the speed sensor to read speed from GPS, I get no auto-pause whatsoever, although the GPS is working and the speed reads zero. So my choices are either no auto-pause or the thing stuck on auto-pause for most of the ride.

And I've had a couple rides where the map wasn't displaying any roads, but it's working the last two rides.

On the combined speed and cadence sensor, make sure it's configured correctly: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/8718666247195-Karoo-2-Combined-Speed-Cadence-Sensor

If my speed/cadence sensor wasn't configured for both speed and cadence it wouldn't work some of the time, right? If you read my post, you should know the configuration can't be the issue.

Hi David, Sorry for not being clear enough. I did read your post - and it's good to make sure the basics are set correctly. I was just making sure of that.

Are there any other sensors added on your bike? Particularly one of those that may provide speed data.

I do see your ticket with us. Could you please also share the serial number of your Karoo 2 on the ticket? You can find it printed at the back of the unit, or on the original box or under the Settings > About > Status.
