Was this HH Karoo 2 supposed to come with a battery? If so, what is the optimum battery size?
I looked through all the info on the website and have contacted HH directly and all we can get from them is under 5V and 2.5 amps
So there are a lot of choices here, so what are people using and what is working the best as I see a lot of discussion regarding the battery not lasting very long but maybe that is for the Karoo 1...
Have had it over a month and still not using it because been away biking but not able to get a definitive answer from anyone on this, so community can you hel0??

Hi Linda,
The Karoo 2 has a built in battery. I usually charge my Karoo 2 by using the supplied USB cable that is connected to a USB port on my home computer. Here is an article with more information.

Hi Johnny,
If all else fails read the instruction!
I have been charging with USB C <> C and a iPad plug. I haven’t had problems with the battery, but will change to the HH recommendations.Linda:
I assume you are talking of daily riding with the battery and not it’s overall life,
I have around 6.5hrs, possibly 7 but have never ridden it fully down.
That’s using all GPS; 3 data screens + map screen and 5 sensors. However, I have screen display at 80% to be able to see the screen in the sun and with sunglasses. That is a known battery drain on all GPS devices. I also have SIM card loaded which uses battery as well.
I do not think under any circumstances you will get the HH touted 14hrs,
