Karroo 2 elevation Problems with simcard
Hello everyone,
I need your help, I am using Karroo 2 and I have problems with the altitude information.
When I ride without a sim card, the altitude metres are pretty ok, not as perfect as the Wahoo but it works.
Since I use the simcard it is just annoying with the Karroo.
At first it shows correct data, for example 684 metres after 3 km it goes to 0 and stays that way.
I have to go into the menu and do the altitude calibration again then it works again for the next time.
I have also noticed that when I ride in the forest, 99% of the time there is always 0 altitude metres on the road it works again. (After a calibration)
Who can help me?

If you are in Germany, I’d say your options are riding with the mobile data off, ignoring the elevation data (even Strava does the correction automatically when the numbers are bad enough) or getting a different unit. There are probably a few different issues at play for different people, but my Karoo 2 works pretty normally in this regard in Finland (except on this one road...) but always goes completely bananas in Germany.
