Karoo2 screen went blank mid ride
Bought my Karoo2 last December 2023 and initially used it in January 2024. I only used the unit for about 350 miles (20 hours).
Two days ago, the screen went blank mid ride. I know it is not the battery since I charged the night before. Just for kicks and giggles, I charged it again when I get home. After an hour of charging, I tried to turn it on but all I am getting is a blank screen.
I did the hard reset (simultaneously pressing button B, C and D) and it did nothing. Tried the hard reset a few more times (again, making sure that I charged the unit for a full hour just in case) but all I am getting is a blank screen (No menu showing).
Anybody experienced this? What was your solution to fix this issue?
If this can't be fixed then this will be my most expensive paper weight.

I am having the same problem. One morning last week my Karoo 2 would not turn on. Nothing. I contacted Support and got suggestions to try (mostly involving charging and hard reset) but nothing worked. So now I have a small black brick. I'm out of warranty and the support reply was, that's too bad.

No, my issue was not fixed. Customer Support just told me to do a hard reset and charge the unit, to no avail. They end up sending me a replacement unit (only after they received the bad one I sent them). Don't know if the replacement computer they sent me is a new one or a refurbished Karoo2.
Correction to my initial post, I received the Hammerhead Karoo2 unit in Dec 2023 and I only used it once (in January) for 21 miles (a little over an hour ride) and it quit half way on my second ride using it. The 350 miles (20 hours) that I initially mentioned was for my new bike.
So if you guys are no longer under warranty, then it will be SOL and you have an expensive paper weight.
