Would it please be possible for Developers (or HH?), to make the most of KAROO sound alerts and make a handy Bike Bell for the rider please? A similar post is here: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/27934435754779-No-joke-Karoo-as-bicycle-bell Maybe for use with the Garmin Remote Control?

  I've tried but failed since the limitations of the integrated buzzers are too big. I guess it is impossible to make it sound like a real bike bell.

  Hi Jonas, thanks for responding. If not exactly like an acoustic bell, how about a digital alarm 🚨 sequence of notes. Ascending or similar in pattern. Maybe fun like a siren or 'Dukes of Hazard' horn.lol.

  Hi! I have used an app on phone "Urban Tracker"  which has a bell on touch screen and also automatic when brake, it will be nice to get the manual one from that app and implemented to karoo.

  Hi All,
  Thank you for your suggestion, we’re excited to share a new update based on your feedback!

  • We’ve added the ability to trigger the bike bell by double tapping the screen with two fingers. This works on all data pages except for the map page. The bike bell can be toggled on/off in profile settings.

  • We’ve also added the ability to add the bike bell as a data field on any page. Once added, the bike bell can be triggered by tapping the data field.

  Very nice to see this new feature but please add some attention to existing bugs like the automatic zoom bug!
