This is probably an issue with the underlying openstreetmaps mapping data, especially is there is a path that's marked as inaccessible for cyclists. It would be great if HH once adds a manual mode to manually add such paths to the route

I can't imagine that it should be due to OSM, as other route planners such as RWGPS or Komoot have no problems.

Hi Markus, You can adjust the Hammerhead route planner by placing waypoints along your preferred roads or paths. This helps guide the route instead of letting the system choose automatically. If the planner takes unexpected paths, then because of the planner relies on OSM data, sometimes it may take unexpected routes, especially if certain roads or trails are not properly tagged. If needed, you can also create routes in third-party apps like Komoot, Strava, or RideWithGPS and import them into your Hammerhead dashboard. Ignore the path feature on the Dashboard that allows the rider to override the OSM-based routing on the Dashboard.

Unfortunately, a route cannot be planned in the route planner because the points that are set are not implemented correctly by the route planner.

I just wanted to try out the tool, but unfortunately it's no good. I'll stick with Komoot.
