Karoo and Strava Ride Time Not Matching
AnsweredSince mid-August the ride time on the Karoo no longer matches the ride time in Strava. Prior to that time the times were seconds apart. Since mid-August the times are minutes apart leading to much lower average speeds.
Given that other folks are seeing similar Strava data as mine on the shared rides, my thought is that Karoo is shorting the ride time and the culprit.

Hi Sean,
I am sorry to hear about the issue with Strava uploads. For us to investigate the issue, could you share the serial number to us via email to support@hammerhead.io.
You can find the serial number under Settings > About > Status > Serial number.
Also, please share the FIT file of the activity from the Karoo Dashboard on which you saw this issue.

What was the resolution to this?
I am having the same problem.
I have auto pause turned on on my Karoo. When I upload a ride to Strava, the 'Moving Time' shown on Strava is longer than the 'Ride Time' shown on the Karoo, resulting in lower averages.
I can supply FIT files from the Karoo and GPX files from Strava, but would rather not do it on a public forum.

I guess the answer is here:

See "Why is my activity's average speed on Strava different from my GPS device?"
