Erratic route data; Strava upload issues
AnsweredSince the latest update, I had an instance on a route where at some point mid ride, the data just changed, almost exponentially. I was probably somewhere around 35-40 miles in by the time I noticed it - I was in constant view of the upcoming elevation screen. Although I was in that point of the ride, the Karoo said mile 120+ and averaging a speed in the mid 40s. I continued the ride with the group, and the 72 mile ride was showing as 157+ on my Karoo. It also uploaded to Strava with those same statistics. I used Strava's correction utilities to successfully fix the data.
The only thing I did different on this ride was commute to the starting point - 3.5 miles. I started the ride, with route selected, but I had to ride to the starting point, riding over some of the early part of the route. The Karoo seemed to handle this without issue, but I bring it up because I'm not sure if it's relative to the issue. I began the ride viewing the primary ride statistics, and everything seemed to be performing as it should. I think I switched to the upcoming elevation view around mile 25 or so.
I also noticed the map is inconsistent after uploading to Strava. It has been hit or miss whether the map displays or not, more so in the Strava app than when using the browser. It will at times not display anything on the map canvas.
