Unable to find route for these points

When I try to build a route on the dashboard I get so far and then the system seems to fail/become confused or overloaded and gives me an error message: "Unable to find route for these points". 

I've had this issue for a couple of weeks now (haven't been riding much recently so only just started using the system again in that time). I've signed out and back in and tried starting a new route, as well as using saved routes - always the same message.

Anybody had a similar problem?

  Hi Adam,
  I am sorry to hear about the trouble with creating Routes on the Dashboard.
  Please share the GPX file of the Route you have issues with and serial number to support@hammerhead.io. So we can help you find a solution to the problem.

  I manage to get a temporarily fix by downloading the route as a gpx file, importing it back into the Dashboard. But after a while I get the same "Unable to find route for these points" message again. 

  Hope Hammerhead manages to find the issue.
