Battery draining even on Apple iPhone charger

I received my Karoo, charged to about 70%. I rode 5kms with it and played around a bit with it at home. It got to 8% so I put it on my iPhone charger. It shows "charging" icon, but in fact it still looses battery and now it is on 1%.

Has someone seen similar behaviour?
