Favero Assioma Uno Bluetooth Power Halved

This summer, I discovered my Assioma Uno pedals were reporting half power when using the Bluetooth connection.

If I used ANT+, the power reports correctly.

The same issue occurred with Strava (until they revoked Bluetooth sensor support).

The data reports correctly for Apple devices; macOS & iOS.

  Hi Zachery, we recommend you to connect Assioma Uno pedals over ANT+ as you will be getting the readings from only one of the sensors if you are connecting it over Bluetooth.

  This is a single sided power meter. (Rather, single pedal) The pedals worked correctly on other platforms such macOS & iOS using Bluetooth.

  To follow up on this, I was running a custom firmware from Favero which doubled my bluetooth wattage to have the Karoo properly show the correct wattage. Their latest firmware has provided a feature in the app to allow users to double their Bluetooth wattage for any apps giving trouble. This addresses my issue, though it means I need to swap this feature off whenever I use Apple products as they accept the regular wattage.

  I understand this seems a quirky issue as Favero has addressed it with a 'feature', but I wanted to highlight the default settings do will provide the user with halved wattage and it took me a some time to realize why my power outage seemed so poor.
