1) LCD backlight stay off - 2) brightness slidebar doesnt' work always properly 3)safety cord
AnsweredHi Hammerhead team,
I would like to report you two "bugs" in Karoo I found during some tests.
First one: if you set the brigthness at the lower level and then karoo goes in sleep mode , if you swicht it on , the lcd backlight stay off. ( If you set brightness a little more than minimum this doesn't happen)
Second one: (when karoo is in manual brightness setting), the slide bar of brithness stay in "active state" also when karoo is in a different page from "brithness setting page". ( So, if you touch around the header of screen , and karoo ,for example, show the metrics page, the brithness changes anyway.
( Advice: In my opinion the minimun value of brithness is a little bit too high. Specially if there is not much daylight or when I ride in the wood or in the evening, the brightness could be lower. An extensive range could be helpful for battery life as well. )
3) Where is the fastening of Karoo safety lanyard included.
Thanks
Regards.

Since I use the Karoo on minimum brightness (or try to) this bug affects me too. Its quite worrying at first, you think the worst like it has died or rebooted, before you realise what is going on.

The point that Jonathan raises above is the same problem I have as well and that I described here (second point):

Not resolved yet however.
