Trouble shutting down

I experienced a wierd problem today. After finishing and saving my ride, I held down the upper left button to power off. Instead of popping up the menu, the UI just scrolled through the options (activities, routes, etc) at the bottom of the screen. I had to tap the big yellow start button and long press the button from there to power off. I'm on the latest public release.
