Further to above, in the sensor status page, the 'battery' field seems to show odd data.

It seems to flicker between 7.xx volts and 2.xx volts (maybe one is one of the derailleurs, and the other is the voltage of one of the shifter button cells?). Still, there's no ability to tell which battery it is referring to.

There is also a value to the right of the voltage display, which is currently showing as "74565 hours" (around 8.5 years). Can anyone confirm what that is, please?

    Thanks again!

        Paul.

The battery indicator is text. On mine, it alternated between CRITICAL and NEW. The LED on the rear derailleur was flashing red and the front green, so that matched the Karoo indication. I don't think it shows anything about the shifter batteries.

Thanks for that, Doug - appreciated! This means that we can get an early-warning of a low battery and then check LEDs on the derailleurs to see which one needs more juice.

Would still love to know what the "74565 hours" means :)

    Hi Paul,

Doug has already answered the question and I really appreciate Doug for that. The battery of the derailleur will be displayed on your Karoo. Since the derailleur batteries are identical, if one of the batteries dies on a ride, you can swap the rear with the front (which likely gets less use) to make it home. eTAP also has CR2032 coin cell batteries in the shifters, but those last years, so it is really less of a concern.
