    Hi Leo,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Could you please perform a Factory rest under the 'Settings' App and see if the issue still persists? Let us know your findings.

I have the same issue. I thought it was normal. To save battery.

Sorry for the confusion caused. Let me explain how the Wi-Fi toggle works on the Karoo.

If the Wi-Fi is ON before the ride, it will automatically be disabled once you start a ride. As Charles mentioned, the ideal goal is to save the battery. At the same time, you can manually turn ON the Wi-Fi from the Quick settings menu even during the ride.

Okay, I don't know what changed but is seems to be working properly now.  On my last few rides, the WiFi still turns off during the ride but, when I have returned home, my Strava uploads have happened automatically without any intervention from me.  Seems like WiFi toggles itself on to do the upload.  This is how it used to behave prior to my recent issues so glad it is working that way again.

I will be using Live Tracking on every ride so my Karoo 2 will be WiFi Hotspot tethered to my iPhone. How much impact does this have on battery life?

I would say : most likely quite a lot. Why use live tracking all the time? Are you going very far? You can always share your location thru Google maps also.

I have been using a Garmin for years where live track start automatically on every ride with no big impact on battery. I just bought the Karoo 2 and have set it up for the 1st ride this week. Most of my rides are 40+ miles and my family like to know how the ride is going. Google is not anything I want to use with my bike. I will test this setup and see who the battery does.

Forcing the system to disable wifi when a session starts makes no sense. Allow the user to choose their own default setting. Allow wifi always on as an option. Heck, you could even make it a per profile option.
