A quick update. The Favero Assioma Pedals report correct power over ANT+. (This has historically been the case)

The issue is limited to Bluetooth for just the Hammerhead Karoo.

You are absolutely correct. If you connect the Favero Assioma Pedals over Bluetooth, the Karoo can capture the data from only one pedal and that is the reason why it is showing half the value. On the other hand, if you are connecting it over ANT+, you will get the correct Power.

I think there is a misunderstanding.

My pedals are the Favero Assioma UNO model, which is the single-sided power meter model.
The Favero Assioma DUO is their dual-sided power meter model, which can transmit both pedals as a single Bluetooth signal.

The Favero Assioma UNO single sided power meter pedals I have currently report the correct power on the majority of my platforms, but due to the Karoo (and formerly Strava on Android) recording the wrong power, Assioma introduced a 2x power hack for platforms incorrectly implementing power.

If you think this is the correct behavior, that is is comparable to saying a single-sided power meter crank should record half power since it is only one side.

If I use this hack for forcing compatibility with the Karoo, and then go use a platform that correctly records the stock data, the 2x power results in ridiculously numbers. As much as I wish I had the sprint power of Justin Williams, I don't have a 1800 watt sprint.

See below for a table I recorded to demonstrate how platforms

I have reached out to Favero support.

"Since we discussed last time, many apps have been updated and today very few people uses the function to force to double the data.
I will forward your email to my colleagues of R&D department; should the Hammerhead team contact us, we will be happy to help them."

If your team could reach out to Favero and validate your implementation, it would be nice to see this resolved as the Hammerhead Karoo is the only platform I know of with this issue.

In fact, there are many flaws that prevent karoo users from taking advantage of other devices ... Some of the upgrades have been almost useless and the most important issues are forgotten ... I imagine now with the debut of karoo 2 ... It is a pity...

Hi Zachary, The product team is aware of this but they are currently concentrating on the features that are in the existing backlog. Thank you for your patience while we work on this.

I recognize your team is implementing a big UI revamp, but any news on investigating this issue? I would hope it is a simple calculation change, especially if the Favero team is willing to help.
