auto pause + no speed track

dear community of hammerhead

 

i recently got myself a new hammerhead and when i go on a ride it only the first second it tracks  my speed and then turns automaticly on auto pause. the gps function is working cause i can still follow the gps directions.

is there any fix for the autopause?

ps: i already tried to turn off autopause but still got the same problem that my speed is not getting tracked down.

  Hi Bram, Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. If the Auto-pause is turned ON, it will activate based on how you set the Auto-pause threshold speed. For reference: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/360003861633-Changing-the-Auto-Pause-speed-limit

  I see that the speed is not displaying on your karoo from the in-built speed sensor. Just to clarify, are you using any speed sensor on your Karoo? This helps us to isolate the issue further.

  hi 

   

  i am just using the gps and a cadance sensor. even when i turn off the auto pause they speed will not show op nor the distance

  I had similar problem with no speed display after the auto-pause. After the break for example, when I continue ride, sometimes speed is not showing on screen on map page. I need to turn on/off whole screen few times, to correct this.

  I have the same problem. Until recently my HH Karoo2 worked perfect, but now there is no more registration of distance, cadence, speed and max speed. During my ride the GPS also does not work, yet the HR monitor is functioning. Pretty frustrating.

  Erik, do you have Combined speed cadence sensor connected on your Karoo 2? or do you have any such sensors connected on your ride that also transmits speed data. If so, please disable speed under the sensor details for that particular sensor, that'll allow the speed to be read by the in-built GPS

  The same problem again. I have no clue whether I have a combined speed cadence sensor on my Karoo. How can I find that out? Pretty complicated instructions for someone who is just wanting that the Karoo is doing what it is supposed to do. Next time I'll buy a Garmin....

  Erik, a combined speed cadence sensor would be a sensor installed on your bike and paired with the Karoo. If the sensor has been customized incorrectly under the sensor details based on your set up, you should be able to make the changed. It would be great, if you could please share the serial number of your Karoo 2 and a FIT file of any of your recent ride with the problem to us. We would love to investigate and solve this for you.
