Karoo not uploading activity to Karoo dashboard or Strava

    Hi Martin,
    when a Fit file does not have the complete information recorded or when we force close the process before it gets saved, the Activity fails to get uploaded to the Dashboard and to Strava.
    The only option we suggest is to manually upload the FIT file to Strava.

    Currently, the Activity cannot be manually imported to the Dashboard. Please upload it manually, as we do not want you to lose this important ride.
    1) Please download the FIT file of your ride, which you had concern syncing with Dashboard/Strava from the Karoo.
    2) On Strava application on your computer, click on "+", and "Upload Activity".
    3)Browse for this FIT file and "Save & View".
    This should upload the Activity to Strava.

    cela peut m'intéresser. Comment télécharger un fichier FIT, car lorsque que je connecte mon Karoo en USB sur mon PC, je vois bien le Karoo dans l'explorateur de fichiers, mais si je clique dessus, il n'y a rien dans le dossier.

    Ashish, or anyone, I’m having this same issue. None of my rid3s since the 17th have uploaded to dashboard and I’m not able to upload to Strava either. 

    there seems to be a bug in the app/device. I’ve also noted very long delays for new routes to upload to my device.

     

    i have no idea how to access the .fit file as it wasn’t explained how to do that from my Karoo. In any case, this seems a work around for a bug.

    Hi Ashish,

    I have the same issue, my ride doesn't upload to the dashboard.

    In your reply above, you recomment to download the .fit file from the Karoo. How can I do that when it is not uploaded to the dashboard? On my Windows 10 computer I don't see any files if I connect my Karoo via USB.

    Same issue- files not uploading to dashboard or Strava though the ride shows up in "rides" on my Karoo.

    No answer for 6 months?!

    Check your Karoo and be sure you’re still logged in. For some reason, especially with firmware updates, it will log you out and there’s no way to know other than the rides don’t update on your dashboard and you can’t upload to Strava, etc.

    I've seen this too, silently behind your back it turns out you're no longer logged in. The only indication, other than going into settings, is sometimes I lose wifi (separate issue) and when I pull down the top menu to tap on it quickly to rejoin, I see some android message saying log back into access to your cloud services.Does sound like a bug to get logged out so frequently.

    I'm going to log a bug against this so it is on the Hammerhead team's radar.

    I had the same problem (not uploading to the Hammerhead web portal).

    The root cause .... for some reason my phone account wasn't logged in to my Hammerhead account. I think a software update may have been the culprit, because I didn't log off the device. 

    To log back in, I hit the blue menu icon (with the 4 squares). Then hit "Settings", "Hammerhead Account", Sign In, scanned the 2D bar code with my camera, login worked, all the workouts uploaded.

    I am (again) facing the same problem. No wifi issues, Strava is linked to my Karoo but for some unknown reason I am not succeeding in uploading my ride to my strava account. Pretty annoying.

    Erik, is there any error message shown on Karoo or Dashboard when you try to manually sync the ride? Also, did you try to log out and log back in on Hammerhead account?

    Same thing happened to me after the last update. Went to Settings->Hammerhead Account, logged out, then logged back in and automatic uploads started working again.

    Karoo not uploading to Strava. Logged out and back into both accounts, nothing. Latest update perhaps?
