Problem with battery

Last Friday, I was riding in the Netherlands and at the second stop; after approx. 100 km, I had 69% power left. When I was on my bike again, after approx 25 km., my Karoo suddenly stopped. It went all black. When I tried to start up the Karoo again, it said 0% power. How is this possible? Is there a battery problem with my Karoo?
