Bad feedback on software update applied 30th July
AnsweredTerrible experience with newest update:-
I do a lot of arduous rides on my fatbike, off-road, up mountains etc and involves a good bit of pushing. On Friday 31st July I did a circuit of the Pentland hills near Edinburgh where at least 40% of the ride was pushing slowly up hills. Previously the Karoo handled this sort of ride fine but on the ride I noticed that although the elevation display was ticking up (slowly π) the ascent display just remained the same !
I know for a fact that the route is about 16 miles with approx 6000ft of climb and I reckoned on 7 hours. At the end of the ride the Karoo reported that I had done the 16 miles but with only just over 1000ft climb !!!
and that my moving time was 3 hrs 35 mins on a ride of 7hours 40 mins !!!
This new update is not the best as it seems to have lost the ability to track slow progress π‘
Was perfectly ok before the update....
Auto pause interval is set to 0mph
Anyone else move so slowly and have problems ?

Hi Alan,
We are sorry to hear about the concern with the accent data not getting updated during the climb. This is a known issue and something that require a lot of changes in the implementation, especially for slow climbs. I can confirm this is being looked into, but, we do not have a timeline yet.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
