Loose Threading?
AnsweredPicked up my Karoo 2 and per some other suggestions, I tried to move the hammerhead mount insert onto my K-Edge handlebar mount. I have an aero frame, so the Hammerhead mount is useless to me, and I really don't want to use the adapter. I picked up appropriate screws and the install went off just fine...but I discovered that one of the threaded sockets in the mounting place is loose. Even with the screws (and I tried a few) fully screwed in, they can wiggle back and forth in the screw socket. So that means the Karoo wiggles on the handlebars. Anyone else had any problems with poor fit/finish on their mounting plate?

Hey Justin. Sorry to hear about the issue with mounting Karoo 2 on the handlebar. Let me assist you with this.
I would like to inform you that Karoo 2 fits perfectly onto the 31.8mm round handlebar. Since you have the aero bar, we have included the quarter-turn adapter to help you mount your Karoo 2 if not with the Karoo 2 mounting system.
I would be curious to look into your alternative and the damage to the bracket puck. Could you please share a short video of the mounting as well as the picture of the mounting system you have designed? It would be really helpful if you can share the picture of the handlebar as well. I would request you to take a close up picture of the bracket puck, screws, and the thread where it went loose.
