CLIMBER offset by a few hundreds meters
PlannedHi guys,
first of all, I love the new CLIMBER function, well done!
My only issue is its accuracy where I see 2 issues:
- The top of the climb is always shown too early (CLIMBER tells me I'm at the top when there's obviously still a few hundred meters left until the top of the climb)
- The ribbon with the grades is quite often off. (I've seen places where the road climbs steadily around 5-6 degrees where the ribbon shows first a 10% section followed by a -1% section)
Has anyone else experienced these issues?
Thanks,
Charles

Hi Charles,
See my post: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/1260803999870-CLIMBER-First-impressions
I haven't got any response from HH yet, I thought I was the only one who had experienced exactly what you say....
Cheers

I've seen instances where i've gone over a bridge that was around 6% and climber shows a 20% gradient. It was actually measuring from the road underneath the bridge and corrected itself after the bridge was over. There was no lag though, it was pretty spot on at getting it wrong when I hit the bridge.

Hey All,
Thank you for posting! We apologize for not responding back sooner to this post.
We have identified this as a bug on the CLIMBER tab and our teams are working to improve the behaviour of the climber as the top is reached. We hope to see this improvement come out in our future releases :)
We thank you for your efforts here!
