probably there is a problem with the forum, because my post was never answered and is deleted. Therefore as the problem still exists, I upload a screenshot from my original post...
Many thanks for trying to help with the matters of "is there a chance to recover my ride" as I can't imagine that the whole ride is lost...

Thank you for bringing this to our notice! We do apologize for not responding to your post sooner!
You can still recover your ride manually by checking the internal storage of the Karoo, The articles linked below should walk you through the steps of downloading the FIT files on the Karoo:

I would also urge you to check the 'temp' files folder by filtering out the date of the ride to identify the FIT file.
