BUG: Wrong Distance on Karoo compared to FIT-File and Dashboard
Hi everyone,
I recently got my Karoo 2 and seems like on my first recorded ride there is a difference in distance shown during the ride and in the Dashboard as compared to the corresponding fit-file.
As you can see here, the Karoo 2 itself and the ride in Dashboard overview show a Distance of 33.3km:
But when I open the data and look at the ride, it shows a distance of 31.5 km (which is probably correct, since my Garmin watch shows a very similar distance of 31.47km)
It also seems that the exported fit-file is somehow corrupted, since I can't open it with any fit-file-viewer and it only has a size of 98kb compared to the gpx-file from Garmin with ~540kb.
Also, why is it not possible to export these files as gpx, but only fit?

Alright, next ride, exactly the same problem:
Garmin Watch and the route in the Dashboard shows a Distance of 22KM, whereas the device itself during the ride had a distance of 23.4KM...Is there any solution to this, or is the problem even acknowledged?
If not, I may have to return my device, since a deviation of >5% for the most basic data like distance, and therefore average speed, is absolutely unacceptable!

hm ok thanks, that's a start.... However, the Dashboard itself wouldn't be my biggest problem, if the data on the device itself during the ride would be correct, but that's also not the case.
My average speed is therefore off by ~2-3 km/h after a one hour ride (at least in these last two rides), which is reaaally annoying if you think you have a 30 average speed and it turns out to be closer to 27 :D
