Karoo 2 mount loose
AnsweredThe plate that accepts the Karoo 2 is loose and rattling. I had to remove my Karoo 2 on tonight's ride, because it looked like it would shake loose. The tear-drop shaped plate is what's loose...not where the mount arm connects to the bike. I am not sure how to fix this. Are there supposed to be screws in the two holes?

I have had a similar problem. It has always been very difficult to do the right click to remove the unit from the mount. The other day it started wobbling whilst riding and on inspection I saw one of the small Allen screws had come out and the other was loose. Replaced the missing screw when I got home and tightened it all up securely. Next time out the whole unit came away with the top half of the mount. Luckily I always ride with the unit tethered. Bit of a design fault there I think.
