Karoo 2 mount loose

The plate that accepts the Karoo 2 is loose and rattling. I had to remove my Karoo 2 on tonight's ride, because it looked like it would shake loose. The tear-drop shaped plate is what's loose...not where the mount arm connects to the bike. I am not sure how to fix this. Are there supposed to be screws in the two holes?

  I removed the mount from the handlebars and tightened the two screws on the teardrop with my smallest Allen wrench. That should fix the rattle.

  I have had a similar problem. It has always been very difficult to do the right click to remove the unit from the mount. The other day it started wobbling whilst riding and on inspection I saw one of the small Allen screws had come out and the other was loose. Replaced the missing screw when I got home and tightened it all up securely. Next time out the whole unit came away with the top half of the mount. Luckily I always ride with the unit tethered. Bit of a design fault there I think.

  I just had the same issue. There are no screws in the two little holes how and what do I replace them with???

  I contacted Hammerhead support and told them of the situation. When they responded I had to send photos in to them. They sent out a new mount to me.
