Climber Tab Doesn't appear (also distance to top is always zero).

I am about 10 rides in with my Karoo2, and I was riding with a friend who also has the same unit.  On a climb today, his unit went into climber mode, while mine did not (I had climber "on" and set to "all climbs" - same settings as he had).    For some reason, I can't get this information to display.

Also, ever since I got the unit, I've had one of the fields as "Distance to Top" - and it has always been zero.   It never displayed a number despite going on significant climbs.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

  Are you following a pre-created route (navigation)? Otherwise Climber doesn't engage.

  Same for the "Distance to Top" - it shows nothing unless you are following a route.

  I mean, the Strava segment comes alive.  Wouldn't the Climber one as well?

  As mentioned above you need a route loaded and running for climber to work. Om my 75 mile ride Sunday climber worked very well and was a great aid as I climbed here in Colorado.
