"No Internet Connection" ?
AnsweredRebooted my Karoo 2 at least twice and tested on several different routers... everything seem fine...
EXCEPT that I get the "No Internet Connection" warnings after I tap that " + Routes " then the " + " sign on top right of the screen just below the hour.
What does this mean? Is it a BUG? It's a dead end anytime I try to do that.
my WIFI is connected... all registering are done & Maps are successfully loaded....
I purposely selected only WIFI as connection but despite the connection obviously working I still do get that "No Internet Connection" notifications one in grey inside the search field and the second at bottom of the screen inside a black banner... which forbid the use of this feature at all.
Need Help?
I'm confused and annoyed
PS: The only time I can find/fetch a location using Internet (I'm not sure) or some internal data from the maps files is when I do the same thing from the "Routes" app on the screen where all the "Settings", "Sensors", "Profiles" icons appear.... SUPER DUPER CONFUSED!

Hi Frederic, I assume you are trying to create a route or add a route/location after you have started the ride, and hitting the +route from the maps screen when on pause. This won't work, as the internet will be disconnected after you start a ride to save the battery. You can however manually enable the wifi by pulling down the Quick setting menu: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/360051592074--Quick-Settings-Menu-

Hi Frederic,
Not sure if it related to your issue, but I had a problem downloading the Updates over my work Wifi connection. It could see that the update was available, but it wouldn't download it.
after much troubleshooting with a (Very) patient IT Manager, it turned out to be that the Karoo was using Google DNS, which our IT policy blocks. They've now put an exception in for the Karoo and it is OK.
Just something I've found, may/may not be your issue.
Thanks
Dave
@Karoo - Can you Change it to use whichever DNS is specified by the network, rather than Google please?
