One More Zoom Level on Maps

Was riding today on MTB, so trails are what's on the map.  Found myself wanting one more ZOOM level on the map.  I think there are only 3 now....4 would be great 5 would be amazing.  Maybe not as big of a deal on the road, less turns and less details.  But in MTB in an area your not familiar with, as accurate as the GPS is, it would be great to have that extra detail that I could see on the screen when I glance down to know what turn to take coming up....

  Although you have more zoom levels in both directions by finger gestures on the touchscreen I also would appreciate to have more zoom levels (bigger and smaller) by pressing key buttons.

  Agreed, 3 is not enough. Ideally this can be setup via Settings, i.e. the number of zoom levels and what the zoom levels are. Alternatively a number of predefined zoom levels that can be toggled on or off. This is simple to implement and would be very useful.

  Press and hold the buttons A or C for additional zoom levels without using the touch screen.

  @friedrich I'll check this out.  Although more clicks is not ideal.  However in this case at least they are not typically being done at SPEED.  I have found and seen many others say the pinch for zoom is almost unusable.  It seems to prefer the screen switch rather than zoom.  If I were writing the code I would disregard the screen side to side if two fingers were found.  But I digress.

  Adding another zoom level, or better yet as mentioned above having a setting for how many or how much each press zooms would be a very nice polish.  I'm enjoying the K2 so far....just got it....still learning to get around.

  For me zooming by pressing and holding the buttons is sufficient. That´s much better then touching the + or - icon on the map screen on my Edge device.

  If improving the zoom feature HH should implement autozoom when approaching a TBT point to see more details e.g. the right exit in a roundabout. After passing the TBT point K2 should go back to the previous zoom level.
