Garmin Rally Single Sided Powermeter
Answeredhi
I recently installed my Garmin rally xc100 (single sided) power meter, after my first ride the results were in line with watt I expected, the second and 3rd ride were quite off in terms of data compared to the first ride some of the results nearly halved (!)
also some of the detailed power data seems to be really off see below screen-print where cadence, HR and speed are very stable power range shows stark peaks and troughs
Already reconnected and performed calibration on the K2 several times.
Is there anyway you can explain these stark differences ?
data below, if you want I can share fit files
Jan 3rd ride
- Distance : 53.28 km
- 2:23 moving time
- 170 w weighted avg power
- 1.340 KJ
Jan 11th ride
- Distance : 53.58 km
- 2:24 moving time
- 95 w weighted avg power
- 657 KJ

Hi Terence, thank you for sharing this post. We would like to investigate the issues with your ride.
Could you please share the FIT file of your both rides with us at support@hammerhead.io?

I’m currently playing around with my new Rally XC and have been getting low / inconsistent power. Some reading today pointed me toward the torque spec which I am going to try on my next ride. I had been putting them on the trainer and taking them off each time and probably not tightening them enough. Something to check if you haven’t.
