My Karoo just quit
I was out for the first time this year and my Karoo just quit after about 10-minutes. The whole thing just shut down. I restarted it and after a minute or so it, again, just shut down. The power display showed 99%. Any ideas as to why or how to fix this?

After reading about all the battery problems with the first Karoo, I decided to look for a replacement third-party battery. I could not find anything anywhere. With this in mind, I decided to just drain the battery. I started the Karoo, walked around the neighborhood to get a route started, and left the unit overnight. The next morning it showed 1% charge on the battery. I plugged the Karoo in to the charger and left it until it was fully charged. Today I went out and road for 40-minutes. There were no issues with my Karoo so it appears that discharging/recharging the battery brought it back to life - I hope!
