Frequent crashes (restarts) while riding

I bought a new Karoo in February and only started using it this week. The Karoo crashes constantly 3 to 5 times an hour while riding (without user interaction). All the latest updates applied. Doesn't matter if in explore mode, on planned komoot routes or on direct device navigation to a set point. All 10 to 20 minutes the Karoo crashes and restarts automatically.

Is my device broken or is it just lousy software quality?

  I opened a support ticked with hammerhead. And after some initial delay, support responded promptly and tried to solve the problem. They thought it might be a stuck power button and sent a replacement shell. Didn't help, so they send me a replacement device. Didn't receive it yet but I hope the new device won't have this issue.
