Fitbit Air Won't Stay Connected

    The first time I added the fitbit air hr sensor to my karoo 3 it kept connecting and disconnecting and I thought it was not going to work. Then I added it while a ride was in progress and it worked. It shows up as "Karoo BT audio" in the Google health app. But: during a 4 hour ride it lost connection twice and I had to delete and re-add the sensor in karoo. I also have to delete and re-add the sensor on the karoo after every reboot.

    Haven't tried it since the recent 1.634.2440 update which as you say mentions BLE bonding and sensors not staying connected. I'm hoping maybe hammerhead dev team is already working on the issue.

    Update: I tested the updated software today on another 4 hour ride. It feels like maybe it behaves even less stable than before the update. I had many dropouts, sometimes the HR would cycle on and off over and over until I clicked "reload" on the hr sensor and then it seemed to be more stable. But I still had dropouts after that too. I did not have to delete and re-add the sensor again yet, so maybe one step forward one step back.

    Any updates after the new google firmware update? Thanks! I would really like this to work.

    Hey, I haven't noticed any change since the latest fitbit firmware update. Fitbit HR sharing "works" but you have to click reload in the HR sensor on the karoo from time to time. I noticed the HR disappears from the karoo after the ride is paused for a few minutes or longer. Inconvenient for sure, I hope hammerhead can get it working properly.

    Mine won't even work that well.  It connects, instantly disconnects, connects, instantly disconnects...  {repeat}

    **EDIT** Sorry, I've just seen your previous comment about adding while the ride is in progress.  I've not tried that yet.  I'll perhaps give it a go soon.

    Also disappointed that this doesn’t work. I wish it could be resolved and save me from having two hr sensors during rides.

    Can hammerhead devs jump for the rescue?

    Mine stayed connected today for multiple hours after I started a ride, deleted and re-added the sensor and selected it in the sensors menu. I think selecting in the sensors menu seemed to do the trick!

    I tried this morning, connecting during a ride, but it did the same, disconnect... reconnect... disconnect.
