Karoo 3 freezing mid-ride

My Karoo 3 has suddenly acquired an issue where it freezes repeatedly during a ride. It just started freezing up today. It happened five times on the ride and required a restart each time to get it going. Coincidentally, I installed the latest update today. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

  If it's GPS ie unit stops but not frozen, then same problem with me, immediately after the FW from Thursday:

  Reported it to HH support on friday but no answer as yet, Maybe they had suddenly got themselves very busy!

  Same problem with me. Karoo 3 lost gps signal 10km before home and didn't reconnect back. Never happened before.
