Can I force re-routing to consider certain checkpoints at any costs?

So I was doing a race the other day with 3 checkpoints along the way which I was not allowed to miss but unfortunately I took a wrong turn early on and my Karoo 2 re-routed me past the checkpoints directly to the finish line which was not ideal in this situation. Is there some kind of POI enforcement or other setting that would ensure certain checkpoints need to be hit at any costs?

  There is something like that there already, isn’t there. At least I find that if there is a waypoint I have used to force some particular route on Komoot somewhere ahead nearby, the reroute tends to try to get me there for quite a while before giving up. I would rather like to get rid of this functionality, and maybe add something like manually added intermediate points for what you are asking.

  (Ah, getting lost in a race... I once got misdirected by marshalls to a shortcut so I ended up overtaking the group that had just dropped me, was just heading back to start/finish to bail out so no real harm done :)

  There are quite a few posts begging for the ability to disable automatic rerouting for situations just like this. Not sure why it still hasn't been addressed.

  Support staff flagged this as 'answered' but to be honest I do not feel that I got a solution at hand now...
