Navigation Arrow Off Screen

In the middle of a long ride recently, my Karoo 2 navigation screen no longer tracked with the navigation arrow. The arrow would creep off the screen and I would have to hit the arrow icon to get it back. After awhile I gave up. During this time, the turning cues were fine. Anyone know how to correct this situation if it should happen again?

  Next time click the small "lock" icon on the left of the map. That will again lock your position to the center of the map. You can see it in this screenshot:
