I am having the same problem and the problem just started for me. Following to see if there is any solution. I am using a Garmin Forerunner 745.

Interesting, I rode 71 miles yesterday using my Dual-HR and the K2 is on the lates software with no HR issues at all. I have never had any HR sensor issues with the K2. I hope I have not jinxed myself.

My Garmin Dual-HR is fine too on the latest build, and has been since I bought it about six months ago.

So, it is not a universal issue.

I get something similar with a Polar H10 HRM maybe once every ~20 rides as well, the sensor appears to be connected via ANT+ but the reading stays at 0 bpm. Going to the sensor menu, disabling the HRM for a few seconds and then allowing it to reconnect fixes this for me.

Before getting there I have always first tried applying more moisture to the electrodes and restarting the sensor by removing the battery though; maybe next time I’ll finally remember to just try reconnecting the sensor at the Karoo end first...

AN update, after the most recent update and connecting via bluetooth not just Ant+ this seems to have cleared up.
