Garmin Dual-HR connected, but not reading.
AnsweredCurious if anyone else is seeing this. It just started happening and the HRM is about 4 months old so I doubt it is battery related, but I do ride more than the one hour a day average for 2-3 years of life. The sensor still shows paired via ANT+ and there is a HR in the ride, but it looks like as soon as I start it basically stops reading. I did unpair and repair and it worked for a single ride then the ride today it stopped again. Trying to connect it via BlueTooth and see if that works any better. In the sensor options it shows green via bluetooth and mid via ANT+. Has anyone seen this and did you find anything that corrected it?

I get something similar with a Polar H10 HRM maybe once every ~20 rides as well, the sensor appears to be connected via ANT+ but the reading stays at 0 bpm. Going to the sensor menu, disabling the HRM for a few seconds and then allowing it to reconnect fixes this for me.
Before getting there I have always first tried applying more moisture to the electrodes and restarting the sensor by removing the battery though; maybe next time I’ll finally remember to just try reconnecting the sensor at the Karoo end first...
