Trailforks sideloading finally works on the K2

Last year, when I bought the K2 I was a bit dissapointed that sideloading the trailforks app didn't worked as supposed.

At that time I got an gps error en my location wouldn't show on the map.

A few days ago I gave it a new try amd found out that the strange gps error is gone.

so, a few days later I started the trailforks app on my K2 and did a ride with it.

when you start the app you will see an error regarding "google play services" which is missing on the device, however, the app seems to start fine.

There is no gps error and your current location on the map is displayed so you are able to find all the cool trails and navigate them.

You can start recording a ride but at the end I found out I cannot save it.

But you can still record in the normal k2 application.

So it's not perfect but it is good enough for me.

I still hope that Hammerhead will integrate their products with the trailforks application but till that time this is a good workaround for me.

I'm running into problems due to the lack of Google Play Services too.

Does anyone know why HH says they don't want Google Play Services? At least make it an option!

I am able to Install the App. After starting there is no error appearing and everything seems fine. It gets the GPS Location but only one time. It seems that it is not being actualized...any hints on this?
