Why does my Karoon 2 automatically turn off the display after 30 seconds ?

battery save mode: off

battery charge level: > 50%

software (latest): 1.333.1345

  At the moment it seems that hard reset solved the problem.

  This should not happen if you are already in-ride. If it happens when on idle, please check the Display choice under the Settings on Karoo menu.

  Thanks for confirming. Since factory reset fixed the problem, we would not be able to find out the settings that caused this to happen. If it happens again, please share the details of your Karoo 2 with us in an email to support@hammerhead.io.

  I found this happened when the rain (yes rain) managed to 'press' the Power Save button on the swipe down screen (in ride).

  I was, ironically, trying to enable the 'deactivate touchscreen' setting as the rain was playing havoc with my screen.
