"Ignore Path" dropdown menu

With today's update there is mention of a new feature called "ignore path" to be on the dashboard when creating a route. I don't see the option when I'm creating a route. Is this meant to ignore bike paths along roads or to connect roads where there is a path in between? Either way, I don't see the dropdown menu in the upper left that is mentioned. What am I missing?

  The concept is to add a "manual" mode to the path creation, similar to what Strava and RWGPS have. This can help when you have a path that you want to take but for some reason it is not in the routing database, It does not seem to be live yet on the web site

  Thanks for the clarification. I'll look forward to when it is activated. Strange that it would be announced without being activated. Life doesn't always make sense.

  It is live, but you may not see it the browser cache and cookies are not cleared. Try clearing them and reloading the Dashboard. The option should show up on the top left dropdown.

  Just to be clear, we are talking about the Routes section on the Dashboard. I've pulled it up on my phone, tablet and laptop and only see Road Surface choices in the dropdown menu. I am doing this while trying to create a route and do not see the option for Ignore Path. Thanks

  David, yes, it's under the routes when you start creating one on the Dashboard. I am attaching a screenshot from my phone and desktop, on how it looks on both.
