Can’t Turn Off Auto-Pause for Indoor Ride Profile
CompletedBefore the most recent software update (uploaded to my Karoo 2 on Friday, October 21, 2022) this wasn’t an issue. After the update, however, the Auto-Pause function won’t turn off when I’m trying to record a ride on my indoor profile. Because it’s indoors, GPS is disabled, so the elapsed time counter should just start counting once I hit the start button as it has done hundreds of times before the latest software update. I’ve toggled back and forth between manually and automatically starting/stopping the ride but haven’t had any luck. I just get a yellow banner across the top of the screen with “Auto-Pause” flashing, despite it being turned off in the menu.
For me, this means I can’t dual record my rides on Zwift since the K2 isn’t actually recording.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Hammerhead, a little help here? Thanks

I'm using the workaround first mentioned by Nicholas Garcia above...and it works just fine. Thanks, Nicholas!
While unfortunate a fix is delayed, Mike Baldwin expresses my sentiments perfectly. I think some in this community need to take a step back, appreciate the bigger picture, and not get too riled up over these minor issues and/or perceived slights by Hammerhead support.

This was resolved with update 1.342.1374
https://www.hammerhead.io/blogs/change-logs/karoo-software-build-version-1-342-1374Profiles set to Indoor should perform as expected. If you are still seeing this issue with that software version or newer, set your indoor profile to “outdoor”, save it, then switch it back and save it. This has resolved it for the few who still saw issues after the software update.

If 0% glitches is the priority (and realtively static UI) then Garmin could be a better fit. If something that can be adaptive to the users is more important, then this is the place, but let's not act like it's Starbucks Partner Hours where you can beat up some teenage barista and make them cry if they forgot the cocoa powder in your nonfat mocca - I bet SRAM gave these guys a limited runway to become somewhat profitable (or at least slow the burn rate), so let's not burn the house down and end up with $350 bricks 1 year from now.
Yes you are right
