Karoo OS - Turn-by-Turn Directions

The Turn-By-Turn Banner on the Karoo can be customized as per your preference. You can see the road name, surface changes, the full cue sheet for your entire route, and the remaining distance and manoeuvres left till your destination and re-routing preferences. You can toggle each option On/Off. 

Here are the steps to customise your Turn-by-Turn Banner:

• On the Home screen, click on the "Apps" button.
  
• Click on the "Profiles" app.
• Open the Profile you want to customize.
• Scroll up and to go to the "Turn-by-Turn" section under Drawer settings.

Distance to Next Turn

Off - Next maneuver and distance to it will not be shown in ride.
On - Next maneuver and distance to it will be shown in ride. Tap to see upcoming turn cue.

Automatic Turn Cues

Off - Road names will not show when approaching a maneuver. Swipe up to see full cue list.
On - Road names will be shown when approaching a maneuver. Swipe up to see full cue list.

Switch to Map

Off - Karoo will not automatically show your map when approaching a maneuver.
On - Karoo will automatically show your map when approaching a maneuver.

POI Cues

Off - Points of Interest will not show in the drawer when approaching them. Swipe up to see full cue list.
On - Points of Interest will show in the drawer when approaching them. Swipe up to see full cue list.

Surface Cues

Off - Changes in surface type will not show in the drawer.
On - When a route is loaded, surface changes along the route will show in the drawer. Swipe up to see cue list.

Re-Routing

Off - If you travel off route, you will not receive directions back to the loaded route.
On - If you travel off route, you will receive directions back to the loaded route.

You can see the road name for the upcoming turn at any point, not just as you approach it. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
You can also see a full cuesheet for your entire route, from any screen in-ride.
Swipe up in full screen to see all the remaining maneuvers till your destination. You can also see how far you are from the destination on your route, without needing to add Distance To Destination as a data field in your profiles. 
The color of the Route Line and TBT box is determined by On-Route, Off-Route or Route-to-POI.

Here are the steps to mute or unmute automatic turn cues in-ride:

• Swipe up to view the full cue-sheet.
• Toggle the TBT icon on the top to mute/unmute the TBT Banner.

Note: Even if you disable automatic turn cues, you will still get audio alerts for upcoming turns (either via the beeper or BT audio, depending on whether or not you have a BT audio device paired.).
