Karoo OS - Creating a Route

Pre-requisites:

• You should have the specific Offline Map section downloaded. Learn more. 
• The Karoo must have an active Internet Connection through Wi-Fi or the Companion App.  

Here are the steps to create a route on your Karoo:

• On the Home screen, click on the "Apps" button.
• Click on the "Routes" app.
• Tap on the "+" icon on the bottom right to start creating.
• You can either search a location or drop pins by long pressing on the screen.
• Tap on the "✓ " icon to confirm a Pin.
• Tap on the "+" icon to add further waypoints.
• Use the "✓ " icon to confirm a Pin.
• Tap on the 3 dots on the top right of the screen.
• Select "Name Route". Use the preferred name.
• Tap on "Ok" icon to confirm.
• This Route will now be saved.

We recommend creating routes on the dashboard for a better experience. 
You can access the dashboard on your smartphone, too.
