Karoo - Quarter-turn Adapter

The HMS Bracket Adapter is designed to ensure that Karoo can mount to standard quarter-turn brackets.

Here are the steps to install the adapter:

• The bracket adapter can only be inserted one way on the Karoo.
• Slide into the underside until a click is heard.
• The click confirms that it is locked in place.

Here are the steps to remove the adapter:

• Flip Karoo over and lift the tail of the adapter.

• Slide it out the way it was installed.

Notes:

• We recommend holding Karoo in your non-dominant hand with the screen facing your palm and the USB-C port facing away from your wrist. Lift the end of the bracket adapter with your other hand while using your thumb to push the bracket adapter away from the front of Karoo.
• Do not try to pull the Karoo off the Bracket Adapter while installed on a bracket, it will not detach or slide out with force and may damage your bracket or Karoo.
• If you want to leave your Bracket Adapter installed on your bike you can reach under Karoo, pull the tail of the bracket adapter down by the two slots and slide Karoo off.
